Arwen Nicks is a DuPont-Columbia and Tribeca award-winning journalist and editor.
She began her career at NPR member stations, working across newsrooms in Los Angeles and Seattle. Over the years, she has produced more than 10,000 hours of live radio and worked on more than a dozen award-winning podcasts, including The Big One: Your Survival Guide, How’s Your Day, The Sub Pop Podcast, and Renegades: Born in the USA with Barack Obama and Bruce Springsteen.
She also co-wrote a song that The New York Times named one of the best songs of 2023—and which someone on YouTube said was, "...like getting hit in the knee with a baseball bat but it's definitely a life-saving record as well."
